Angels and Friends
In 2003, as part of celebrations surrounding the company’s tenth anniversary, Opera Project launched its ‘Angels and Friends’ scheme. The scheme is very simple and was designed to formalise the slightly ‘ad-hoc’ financial support the company had occasionally received from some of its loyal followers and supporters. Support from Angels and Friends is more essential than ever if the company is to continue to embrace not only the wide spectrum of repertoire but also the truly diverse size and nature of productions it is now noted for. It is not Opera Project’s wish to be one of those companies churning out endless Barber of Sevilles, Cosi fan tuttes and Opera Galas in performances accompanied by piano, a few instruments (if you’re lucky) and a bit of dialogue!
To become a Friend of Opera Project (£25), Angel of Opera Project (£100), or to make a one-off donation, please contact the company at the address below or fill in our mailing form by clicking here. Angels are not promised a place in heaven but are invited to occasional post-show drinks with artists from the company. Friends and Angels are listed in Opera Project opera programmes and will of course be added to the company’s free mailing list.
Auditions for Singers
Opera Project holds extensive auditions for principal and chorus roles between November and February. All auditions are held in London. If you are a professional singer and would like further information please write to Opera Project, enclosing a copy of your current CV. Opera Project will only contact those singers the company would like to audition.
